Bought this on a sale. Use it in a home-server setup which is on 24/7. First thing I noticed is that they are really quiet and don't get as hot as my old hard drives. Never got around to testing read/write speeds as the application I use it for is not data intensive. It's been about half a year now it's going strong. Others may disagree, however I find this HDD perfect for my needs.
